To support their rapid growth, iWired realized they needed to move away from paper schedules, spreadsheets and disparate, disconnected systems that were hampering customer service and profitability.
iWired needed a work order management platform that automated their processes, delivered real-time visibility into operations and integrated with their financial system, Sage Intacct.
KloudGin Automates Process and Provides Visibility
iWired chose KloudGin to deliver mobile work order management as well as process automation for quoting, and management of contracts, inventory and procurement. KloudGin allows iWired to track all stages of each project and schedule job site visits for initial setup and final trim. Schedules can be modified easily to meet any changes in the construction schedule.
Multiple price lists across both builders and customers are configured into KloudGin, reducing DSO by eliminating the manual effort required to bill customers once products are installed.
Managing on-hand consumer and commercial electronic inventory that quickly goes out of date can be a drain on profitability. iWired needed real-time transparency to inventory. KloudGin allows iWired to minimize excess inventory and ensures installers have the parts they need for all their jobs when they leave the warehouse.
To simplify and reduce time quoting and reporting material consumption, iWired is using KloudGin’s Kit functionality. Kits are defined with different parts and quantities for each item. Rather than quoting or reporting usage across individual parts, technicians can reference the appropriate kits. As kits are used, KloudGin updates the inventory status of all of the component parts.
